We’re here to provide our guest an authentic John Day experience at our locally owned and operated business. The Dreamers Lodge Motel is conveniently located in the heart of Eastern Oregon, John Day. TripAdvisor – Nice stay in John Day
This is an older motel but impressively clean. Our teenage niece joined us rather last minute and the gentleman in the office happily changed our reservation from 2 queens to the small kitchenette. We didn’t use the appliances but there was a queen bed in the main room and a double and twin in an adjoining bedroom. Nice location just off the main road through John Day and within walking distance of the Outpost and 1188 Brewing.
TripAdvisor – Excellent local place to stay
My husband and I planned a night in John Day during our road trip this summer. When looking at the hotels, I immediately wanted to support the local guy since prices were comparable to the chain hotels in town (we lived in John Day for a little bit several years ago). Upon check-in, the owner was very cordial. The king bed was great, the bathroom was clean, and the hot water was immediate! The air conditioner helped as well. With this being an older hotel, the key is a real key, which I thought was cute. The owner kept up with small grounds keeping, such as watering plants and stray trash pickup, which shows a great pride in his business. I will stay at the Dreamer’s Lodge on our next trip up there!
